Good to know

Correct
Je suis fatigué(e)
What people say wrong
Je suis fatigue
Not correct French; reads as 'I am tiredness'
The mistake to avoid. Fatigue without the accent is a noun. It means tiredness, so je suis fatigue reads as I am tiredness. The adjective ends in é, and that é is pronounced: fa-ti-gué. Drop it and the word sounds cut short. Here French uses être, just like English.
